Suggest Treatment For Crohn S Disease
I have Crohn s Disease and have had chronic diarrhea for days. My GI doc is testing me for C diff (no results yet) and I will start antibiotics this afternoon. Have been very ill and then today there were curd- like lumps in the very green liquid diarrhea. do you know what this might e snd what might be causing it? It is definitely not empty casings from capsule pills.

for chrons disease it depends on what phase of the disease you are going through. if it is a relapse you should take 5 aminosalicylic acid derivative ( mesalamine preferably) and if it is a flare you might need to add steroids to your course. for maintainece mesalamine shouls be continued.
