Suggest Treatment For Cushing S Disease

My husband has an ongoing illness that has put him in the hospital twice in the last 30 days. He has COPD and the hospital doctor along with the MD suspect he has Cushings Disease. He has been on large , continuing doses of prednisone, gained over 75 lbs in the last year. He has been told that he has to be free of all prednisone for 30 days before they can test and treat the Cushings. I would like to find someone who knows how to treat the disease and he is anxious to feel better. Any suggestions as to where to go for treatment? We are located in Fort Myers FL and he has Aetna Insurance.

As long as the COPD (Chronic pulmonary disease) it is the inflammatory stage of lung tissue and in chronic stage no permanent cure is there but disease can be well control with steroid therapy and life style changes, the line of treatment will be remain same where ever you go.
