Suggest Treatment For IBS
the docctor diadnosed me IBS and advised cap having formula (1. Mebeverine HCL, 2. Rifaximin, 3. Famotidine USP 40mg), after using these medicine i m feeling pain in the lower abdomen. the quantity of stool has decreased but in solid state. please advise

IN the given situation, You seems to suffer from-IBS with Constipation.
Mebeverine in Normaxine -like combination medicine, has increased Constipation in your case.
Rule out Constipation causing diseases like fissure / piles / proctitis/crohn's disease.
Remedy-
Consults with Surgeon n physical examination would fix the cause of Constipation in your case.
Plenty of fluids
Bland diet,
Yoghurt helpings 2 times a day
Cap Sporlac 2 times a day
Avoiding street fast food.
Take plain Omeprazole
with Ciplox Oz-to control IBS with colitis.
Vit B12/Folic acid/ Vit B12/Calcium ,zinc,magnesium would recoup fast.

Based on facts of your query, Your husband seem to suffer from-
IBS with C -drug induced Constipation.
The pain in lower abdomen is from constipated bowel from Mebeverin and Rifaximin with change in stool quality to solid type.
Treat-
Plenty of fluids,
Omit Mebeverin and take only when indicated -for pain in lower abdomen.
Small quantity of high fiber diet
Butter Milk x 3 times a day.
Balnd diet x with Liquid base for first 2 weeks.
Dulcolax suppositories / or Buscopan Tab 2 hs- to evacuate constipated bowels.
Follow this to recover soon.
