Suggest Treatment For TMJ

i have TMJ and since yesterday I have been experiencing discomfort on the left side of my jaw and what feels like the back of my mouth. I saw a dentist in November, no problems, I brush twice a day and chew trident. Is it possible that I brushed too hard and irritated the gums and the gum chewing is making my jaw hurt?

Good Morning,
Brushing your teeth too hard will lead to attrition, irritation of your gums due to hard brushing will lead to inflamed gums. In both these cases, the chances of jaw hurt are rare unless, associated with any other pathology. If you chew them excessively for regularly and for hours, the chewing of gums sometimes makes jaws hurt. Consult your Dentist for underlying pathology.
