My mother has been told by a skin specialist the spot on her nose which looks like a brown mole with blood in it is nothing but an age spot. This morning after washing her face it bled. It has bled before but not quite so much as this morning. My mother is due for another specialist appointment in March 2015, do you think we should wait till then?
It it not normal for moles to bleed. Bleeding from moles or any kind of change in color, size or shape mm the moles could be suggestive of something serious which needs to be immediately seen by a specialist. I would advise you to see a dermatologist soon for a closer examination of the area.
