Suggest Treatment For A Bruise On The Head Of A Child

My one year old daughter just fell off of the couch and bumped her head on the coffee table. She now has a goose egg about the size of a half dollar. It feels squishy to the touch and of course is bruised. She cried and is now drinking milk sitting with mommy. Should i take her to the ER or be concerned at all? She has ice on and so far is acting normal.

Hi

Some degree of development of a bruise is common after any kind of fall .
Just give cold compresses.
See a nearby doctor if it tends to persist or increase.
