Suggest Treatment For A Clogged Skin Pore On Neck

My husband has a large clogged pore on his neck. Has had it for over a year…I have tried getting stuff out of it after he showers…finally yesterday a whole bunch of stinky stuff came out. I put an old fashioned bread poltice on it, but it won t release whatever is in it. Should we go see a dermatologist and have it surgically removed?

Hi.
As per your case history your husband is having a sebaceous cyst.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it for 7-10 days.
3. Only cure for it is surgical removal, so consult a dermato-surgeon for further guidance.

Thanks.
