Suggest Treatment For A Cyst In The Vagina

I went to my gp for having a large cyst on my vagina. They had started to make a head and I squeezed them thinking it was just a normal abscess, well then he looks and says he is 90% sure it s just a barthoil cyst. I started antibiotics and they have already heal so much. Last night I was aroused, no sex. I woke up this morning and the cyst was smaller but I have 4 very hard painless almost pimple looking things? Any thoughts. I m being to lose my mind and I always over think things

The possible causes of cysts around vagina are bartholin cyst as your doctor told, vaginal inclusion cysts, Gartner's duct cyst etc. When the cyst gets infected it forms abscess. As you have taken antibiotics, the cyst might be getting healed. During the process of healing, when the fluid level decreases, the size of the cyst will decrease and the covering skin will get thick. Sometimes that may appear as pimple like thickenings which will gradually decrease. You can continue the antibiotics prescribed by your doctor. Sitz bath can help in faster healing and in reduction of pain.
If the pimple like thing persist or increase in size, better to take a review consultation with your doctor. Recurrence of bartholin cyst may need marsupialization or excision of cyst.
