Suggest Treatment For A Discharging Hole In The Armpit Area
Hi. I have a small hole on my right armpit that excretes white sour smelling stuff and it smells bad. It doesn t hurt and it s barely visible. No lumps or anything and nothing comes out when I squeeze it. The hole appeared last year after I used an underarm whitening cream and the area involved somehow became thinner. It started excreting white stuff just last month after I pulled a hair out from it.

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is furunculosis which is an infection of the hair follicle.It can be treated with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin.You must avoid pricking or fiddling with them. A short course of oral antibiotic like azithromycin might also help. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
