3yr old kid with high grade fever given meftal p thrice daily still fever coming 4hrly on 5ml high grade 101 and cepodoxime syp on day one with trixylix on 14aug 14 on 16 fever shot UPTO 104 INSPITE of treatment only new problem was mild cough so started on azithromycin syp stopped thrice daily administration of meftal p but 17th morning fever shot UPTO 105 admitted started on ceftriaxone nasal bleed with running nose started for 24hrs fever still 4/6hrly 102 max 18 cough increased nebulization started new issue vomited thrice on 18 August .two blood reports on 16aug showed WBC of 25thousand high neutrophils 17 August showed 17thousand decreased so did neutrophils .

The reduction of WBC count indicates that the child is responding to the antibiotics and the dose needs to be continued further. Please note that the dose of azithromycin is once daily and not thrice daily.
Meftal P contains paracetamol and is meant to control the fever. The temperature needs to be controlled either with medicines or cold sponging or both. Else, high temperature can cause damage to the brain. So the medicines for control of fever need to be continued as required.
Nebulisation helps in dilating the airway tracts and diluting the cough. So it provides relief and needs to be continued too. Overall the treatment is on the right lines and you need not worry.
