Suggest Treatment For A Hip Condition

I have received two THR surgeries. First one in Sept 2009. It is the DePuy hIP METAL ON METAL replacment that is currently in recall. I also received a THR for my left side in May 2010, also MOM. I recently had my blood tested for COBALT and CHROMIUM. My cOBALT LEVELS ARE 53.4 MCG/l any my CHROMIUM levels are 12.9 mcg/L. My orthopedic surgeon states that becasue I have two MOM Hip replacements that is probably why my levels are so high. He anticpates the levels to drop with another blood test in two months. Does this sound logical? Thank You
