Suggest Treatment For A Itchy Mole On The Shoulder Area

I recently noticed I have a tiny cherry mole on my right shoulder area. I didn t think anything of it as moles run in my family. Today I noticed an itchy sensation in that area and just chalked it up to being a bug bite. However, this itch is under the skin and about an inch long and is not round like a normal bite. The start of the inch is right at the tip of the cherry. Is this coincidence of placing or something to be slightly worried about?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

After reading history, I deeply feel that most probably you may be having cherry angioma also called De Morgan spots. Kindly you consult the dermatologist. After investigations DM and hyperlipidemias may be ruled out.
Genetic tendency may be there.

I would suggest electrocautery under local anaesthesia. Antihistaminics may be taken to relieve itch.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
