Understanding your concern. As per your query you have large bump on the head . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hematoma from injury , localize infection and folliculitis . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses , keep this area clean and dry and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . If it persists or you experience convulsions , changes in speech or neck pain , then consult neurologist without any delay . Doctor will check tenderness and consistency , also order CT scan and MRI . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti inflammatory or recommend surgical excision .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
