Suggest Treatment For A Lump Behind The Ear

I ve noticed a lump, about 1/4 inch diameter, behind/below my right ear lobe for two or three days. Is this the site of a lymph node? No particular problems now, apart from the endless heat this summer in Southern California. I m 71, in good health, physically active, and the only cancer I ve had is a squamous cell carcinoma near the left eye seven years ago, treated easily with Mohs surgery. Most likely an unnoticed infection?

Hello

Yes , it is most likely to be an un noticed infection specially of the scalp or ear and i dont think you have to worry too much about it. However if it increases in size rapidly or becomes very hard , then i would like you to meet your doctor for examination and advice.
please dont worry!

Thanks
