Suggest Treatment For A Lump In The Crease Of Leg.
I have a cyst of some kind in the crease of my leg at the panty line. I ve had it for many years - flares up, then just remains a bump for long periods of time. It recently burst and now I have a lump on my leg near it that feels warm to touch. Is this a staph infection and how can I treat it?
Sometimes friction due to intercourse can lead to minor abrasions and bruises at external genitalia. That can lead to pain, discoloration and sometimes burning. Usually these types of symptoms will decrease soon, without the need of any specific medication. Using local analgesic cream and maintaining abstinence for a few days can relieve the problem.
If the symptoms persist, better to rule out the possibility of any pelvic infection. In that case, please consult your gynecologist once and get examined. Local and systemic antibiotics, analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs can help in relieving the pain and swelling. A sitz bath can help in relieving the pain and inflammatory changes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
