Hello, Thanks for asking at Healthcaremagic! I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
All the symptoms you have mentioned suggestive of a harmless condition called "Fallopian tube cyst". In most cases, fallopian tube cyst goes away on its own without deliberate medical treatment. We can wait for couple of months and do follow up scans to assess the progression of the lump. I think your gynecologist made the right decision to go for a wait and watch policy rather than early intervention. If the cyst cause symptoms like bleeding or pain ,we may need to intervene. As a first line therapy, we can go for hormonal therapy using estrogen and progesteron pills. If medical therapy fails, you may have to remove the cyst surgically. Now a days it is removed by simple laparoscopic procedures. Consult your gynecologist and he will explain various treatment options, as of now you can take simple analgesics like mephenemic acid for pain.
Wishing you good health. Regards. Dr.Shana
