Hi - my mother has developed a hard mass on the upper right quadrant of her abdomen in the past week. She has a large midline incision (sternum to pelvis) from a big surgery she had 6 years ago and has developed an infection lately - the origin of which cannot be identified.
Hi Greetings from Hcm.Since you had a big surgical scar on the abdomen with infection there is every chance that it could be a huge incisional hernia you consult a surgeon and get investigation like ultrasound abdomen .If diagnosis is confirmed you have to undergo surgery
