Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Leg

I got a lump in my leg from a fall into a metal winch. X Rays showed a very bad bruise. No medical attention was done. He said your skin will blister and don t let it get infected. It did not get infected. But the blisters came and healed. I still have a lump at point of impact. How do I get the lump to go down. It happened 3 weeks ago.

Hi ! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

With a history of fall, this lump could be an organised hematoma (solidified blood collection), which might take a long time to get absorbed of its own. At best, you could go for some anti inflammatory drug along with a proton pump inhibitor, and a serratiopeptidase for a few days on advice your family physician.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
