My husband has a metal flake (we think) in his eye. This has happened before and he was seen by a specialist to have it "scraped" out. That was years ago and I cannot remember what kind of specialist it was! He went to an urgent care today and they didn't see it (it IS there!), they just gave him eye drops for the irritation?! Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your husband is having a metal flake in the eye. This needs to be removed if present. Hence he requires to undergo examination by a ophthalmologist. A simple slit lamp examination is required to find out the presence of any metal flake in the eye and needs to be removed if present.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
