Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Buttock

I have a medium sized very painful bump comming out from the left side of my buttcrack, it has been around 5-6 days and it continues to grow more painful. I have not popped it, as I fear I will end up infecting it. Is there any possible way I can make this unbearable pain and bump go away without going to the doctor or waiting?

Hi the painful bump you are described is nothing but abscess. It is a bacterial infection caused by staph aureus or streptococci pyogenus.it presents as painful swelling increasing day by day .Most common site is buttock.
I will treat this abscess with higher antibiotic like amoxycillin-clavulonic acid three times daily for one week.if not subsided I will go for incision and drainage.
