Hi I was playing tennis two weeks ago and I twisted my left foot I put some ice it got better but the there was a bump on the effected area recently yesterday when I started playing tennis again the same area of the foot started to hurt again and the pain got worst .
hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.
trauma leading to painful swelling which subsided after some time and then recurring later is quite suggestive of ligament injury.
in your case it seems you have grade 1 ligament injury. it's the mildest form. it will improve with proper rest and painkillers.
I suggest you apply a crepe bandage to give rest to the area. use it for about 5 days. once your foot is better I suggest you wear sports shoe for about a month to protect your foot from further minor day to day trauma.
hope this helps. for any further questions please get back to us. thanks.
