Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Nose

I have a painful bump between the cartilage of my septum and the outside of my nose. It s really small and I have taken the scab off of it several tes over the last month or so and it keeps coming back. When I use the tweezers it feels hard but I can t get it out and am not sure what it is.

Hi.
I have read your history of a lump of long standing.
This is called collumellitis and needs a proper long term antibiotic treatment.
In all such cases I advise the following, you too try this and may help you a lot for cure.
- First of all stop fondling with the lump, by repeatedly handling you are not giving it full time to heal.
- Do not remove the scab.
You may take plain water steam inhalation for the scab to be separated on its own and fall off.
- Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation and examination and to get a prescription for 3 week course of an antibiotic like Doxycyclin .
- You may apply an ointment like Soframycin or Povidone iodine only if you feel dryness, otherwise nothing to apply locally.
If you take all these precautions, this will definitely heal.
