I have a lump about the size of marble on the back of my arm near my shoulder. I have had it for about 5 years now, it started as a sort of big pimple that I popped and an unusual sort of pus came out, after that the skinned healed but the lump never went. It is not painful and I did not give it much thought until recently. Should I be concerned?
it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. based from your description, it could be a cyst (a sebaceous or a keratinous type). these lesions can occur anywhere in the body and have the tendency to recur. management (medical and surgical) will be directed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
