Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of lymph node TB 8 years ago, your are 30 years old female patient.
Now feeling swelling in the right side of the neck. ESR is 56- very high.Otherwise feeling good, gaining weight, thyroid is slightly high and I am sure you must be taking treatment for the same.
If you have been treated so well 8 years ago without any negative symptoms except a swelling in the right side of the neck and high ESR, I would suggest you the following:
Get a clinical evaluation, examination and investigations under the guidance of an ENT or General Surgeon.
Get an ultrasonography of the neck.
FNAC to see the reason of the growth of the swelling.
This will give an idea and if FNAC is not conclusive and if there is no focus of infection in the area of drainage, you can opt for excision biopsy for 2 reasons:
1. you get rid of the swelling
2 you get a definite diagnosis.
This way you get a definite diagnosis and a plan for surgery.
I find this answer helpful
