Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Vagina
My daughter is 17 virgin but has developed a cyst or some type of swollen infected area on her vagina. It could be an infection, a cyst or even folliculitis type infection. I think it could be the result of wearing thongs. She wants to see her pediatrician but I am wondering if she should see dermatologist or gynecologist instead. She has also been on acne steroids for 3 years.
Ask her to wear comfortable and clean cotton panty. Some time due to long-term steroids immunity decrease which may cause infection in more susceptible areas. You need to consult a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
