Suggest Treatment For A Painful Pimple On The Face
I had a pimple on my nose that became whitehead and somehow popped. Then the pimple began to smooth out and was decreasing in size. Now the people stays the same size and the pimple turned black. I am a dark skinned 19 year old male and the black mark bothers me so much and is so frustrating. What do I do to get rid of the pimple which now looks like a bump and get it back to the color of my skin?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have painful pimple on the face which is due to oily skin , stress , sun exposure and hormonal changes . As per your query your skin is start getting darker , it seems to me you must be using some ointment or cream containing steroid , hydroquinone or teritenoin. These ingredients has long term side effects , they make skin darker and red in long term . I would suggest you to wash your face twice a day with face-wash containing benzoyl peroxide , after washing face apply cream containing azelaic acid which safe for use and consult dermatologist again and discuss your condition . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like clindamycin or minocyclin.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
