my son (2 years) has a zit looking this right in the middle of his cheek and it hurts to touch so we leave it alone and it showed up this morning. he gets out of bed and sleeps by his door during the night and we do have spiders (hobos mostly) i m wonderin if it could be a spider bite instead of a pimple? is that possible or do spider bites just look like spider bites
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of painful zit on the cheek which are not pimples. Need not to worry it could be due to allergic changes, hormonal changes, stress and change in lifestyle at times. I would suggest you to apply combination of clindamycin gel during day time and Adapalene gel at night time. Application of Topical retinoids will be helpful to you along with topical benzoyl peroxide. Drink plenty of water. Wash your face frequently several times during the day with plain water. Take diet rich in multivitamins. You should take oral antibiotics such as doxycycline, azithromycin or minocycline to prevent further exaggeration.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
