Suggest Treatment For A Polyp Like Growth On The Tonsil

Other night I was chewing gum and it felt like a piece of it was stuck in the back of my throat on the side. A couple days later it felt the same so I looked. I noticed on my left tonsil white spots. I had a head cold about 2 or 3 weeks prior so a did warm water and salt. it helped. A week later I still feel it the spots are gone but one that looks like a polyp. I am terrified! I have no health insurance and now I m afraid I m dying of cancer

Hello
Welcome to health care magic
Dont worry..... The surface of tonsil is not smooth..as there are many crypts which makes it look rough. Also if the polyp kind of thing is yellowish then it may be a tonsillar cyst which is due to a chronic infection and is to be managed surgically.
Start doing disprin gargles and maintain a good oral hygiene.
