Suggest Treatment For A Recurrent Abscess On The Labia

Hi there. I have been having a problem with abscess on my labia for well over a year and im getting frustrated. antibiotics arent working and everytime i go to the doctor they lance it open drain some out and dont send me on my way. And i did everything they tell me and they keep coming back. What should i do??

Hi,

Abscess in labia is most probably a Bartholin's cyst which is a recurring condition. Marsupialization a surgery for this abscess will reduce the recurrence rate. Have a second opinion with your doctor and decide upon this.
