Suggest Treatment For A Sexually Transmitted Disease

FOR ME HSV 1 LGM TEST WAS DOUBT FULL AS THE VALUE OF RESULT WAS WITH THE RANGE OF CUT OFF VALUE,THE TEST WAS COUDUCTED IN JUNE AND MY EXPOSURE WAS IN FEB, I HAVE CONDUTED REST ALL THE TESTS FOR STD'S .BUT THE VALUE WAS WELL BELOW, NOW I AM ON VALCIVIR 500MG DAILY, IS HIV 1 IGM REDUCE WBC COUNT? SHOULD I CHECK FOR HIV ONCE AGAIN.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
You had you exposure on February, that is before 5 months. If your HIV test was non-reactive 3 months after the high risk activity,you need no further test for HIV. If it is well within 3 months, it is better repeat the same as there is a possibility of false negative during the window period.
