Suggest Treatment For A Small Bump On The Nose

I have a small bump on my nose. It s not a zip Bc it never goes away. It is black in the middle and there is a hole at the peek of the bump. And when I put a hot cloth over it to open the pore hard white chunks come out of the hole. The bump is smaller now but I want to know what the bump is?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for small bump on the nose and its treatment.
After reading your query it appears to be related to Acne or pimples and resultant cyst formation. Usually erupts at the age of 13-14 years and then almost vanishes by the age of 25 years. These erupt basically due to blockage of the pores and then formation of the cyst at the affected site. Nose is quite high oil secreting area and therefore can form large cyst which refills again and again.

If I were your treating doctor then would have prescribed you an antibiotic such as azithromycin or cefixime in proper dose. If at all by proper dose the cyst refills then would have done excision of cyst. You can meet a dermatologist for further guidance.

All the best.
