Suggest Treatment For A Small Pea Sized Bump On The Head

I hit my head while bending down to get a bag out of a bin in my garage. The bags where in a open cabinet that had a shelf above where the bin was. I raised up and hit my head. Last year I had an accident to the head while in the bathroom. I have a cabinet above the toilet and opened it to get something out. I forgot to close the cabinet doors and was cleaning the bathroom and raised up and hit my head really really hard. I had a cat-scan. They found nothing the first time. Never had vomiting and only mild pain. But months later a hard small pea size bump appeared on my head at the top center where I hit my head. Friend says it is white in color. My head has felt like a baby s head. Soft spots in some areas of the head. This was going on with the soft spots prior to my head injury. Somewhat. But after the head injury it became more sensitive. I had lots of head injuries that were minor growing up. I am now 51. This second hit was not as hard as the first one. But he has caused conditional dull pain. If I lean my head to one side I feel a bit dizzy. But not severe. I have felt mild nausea with this second hit but never vomited. Now my head is even more tender. It feels often like a finger of electricity going across my head. And the pain is sharp and comes on sudden and last for a few seconds off and on. I take aspirin because I have factor V. But have stopped taking it until I know if I should. Should I have another cat-scan for this new head injury? I hate to run to the ER every time I bump my head. Now I am really watching where my head is. Almost to a panic stage when I bend now. I feel as if I am going to hit something. I am also a heart patient. Bicuspid aorta valve disease. I know your going to tell me to go to the ER. What may be causing the pain..I never passed out by the way..thanks for answer

Cosmetic & Plastic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The pain could be due to the hematoma. Once the hematoma liquified it will be soft. Usually, if there are no symptoms of infections it will settle by itself.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
