I've been feeling like something is stuck in the back of my throat (like food or something was stuck there) and it has been feeling a little sore for about a week now. Today I looked with a mirror and flashlight and I have a reddish pink bump/ lump in the back of.my throat and it has a tiny red dot on it sort of like a cut. It's very irritating and doesn't hurt much just feels like something is stuck.. hopefully you can help me, thank-you
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. The soreness can be because of the peritonsillar abscess or it can be a traumatic ulcer caused by a sharp food particles. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician or an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin(if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
