Suggest Treatment For A Swollen Eye After An Injury
My husband and 4 year were playing last night my son's knee hit my husband in he eye he said " He saw stars" later his nose started bleeding he blew his nose and got blood but his eye swelled up almost like pressure when he touchd around the eye he got dark blook and then red blood but said he felt better like the pressure had been relieved from it But this morning his eye is very swollen and he has a bed headache I thought it was just a busted blood vessel but now I am getting worried and not sure how to treat this
Swelling is sign of Inflammation... If 24 hours have passed injury, start cold ice sponging... Take tablets containing diclofenac + serratio peptidase three times a day for 7 days with ranitidine / omeprazole twice daily... Don't worry about blood in eye...its sub conjunctival hemorrhage... It'll resolve on its own in 15 days... Enquire for any decrease in vision... If so you need to consult an ophthalmologist... For nasal bleeding , i advice an OTORHINOLOGIST opinion...
