Suggest Treatment For A Swollen Lymph Node On The Jaw
I have developed what I think to be a swollen lymph node on my jaw which is causing no pain at all. It developed after taking the oral typhoid fever vaccine. I have one pill left that I am to take tomorrow morning prior to eating. Do you think this is just a minor side effect of the typhoid fever vaccine and should I take the final dose?
Here it is unlikely to be related to your oral typhoid vaccine,so it doesn't seem to be possibility.
If you feel pain and tenderness in swollen lymph nodes then you should see surgeon who will examine you and prescribe the appropriate treatment according to consideration of your tests reports.
Chech your blood hemogram,ESR to rule out infection.
You can take analgesic oral tablet available over the counter for pain and you will also require oral antibiotics like cefixime or cefadroxyl but for that you will need a prescription of a doctor.
Hope this information will help you.
