Hi..
Thanks for the query..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems that if you have a tooth that is fractured or broken then pain in other teeth on the same side can be a
radiating pain from the broken tooth as there must be nerve exposure leading to
nerve irritation and inflammation causing pain..
Secondly pain on biting down on teeth can be due to generalised
gum infection or
Periodontitis while jaw joint related problems can also cause such pain..
So first of all you need to get a clinical examination done by an Oral Physician and get a full mouth x ray known as a Panoromic x ray or
Orthopantomogram done..
The tooth that is chipped off will have to be treated with
Root Canal Treatment followed by capping of tooth if it is in a position to be saved..
For gross decay extraction is advisable..
For other teeth treatment will depend on the cause..
As of now you can take anti -inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, Naproxen etc to relieve pain..
Take a
soft diet and avoid stress as it can cause clenching of teeth that can further cause pain..
You can also send me scans of your x rays by going to my profile and click on "Ask Me A Question so that we can discuss in detail and i can advise you the most appropriate treatment "
Hope this helps..
Regards..
