Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Distension With Frequent Bowel Movements
I FEEL THE NEED FOR BOWELL MOVEMENT WHEN I LIE DOWN IN BED (I GENERALLY LIE ON MY LEFT SIDE AND RIGHT SIDE), BUT CAN ONLY DO A VERY LITTLE OR NOT AT ALL. THIS IS FOR SEVERAL DAYS NOW. MAYBE RELATED TO THIS, I FEEL QUEEZY WHEN I JOG OR WALK. ALSO MAYBE RELATED, I HAVE A SOMEWHAT CONSTANT SENSATION SIMILAR TO SLIGHT DISTENDING IN ABDOMINAL AREA TO THE LEFT OF CENTER.
You should undergo routine blood investigations with urine and stool examination for R/M and ova or ultrasound of abdomen or upper GI scopy if required.
You should take light food daily and if you still having raised frequency of bowel habit with abdominal bloating or distension then you should start 1) some medication like proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole or rabeprazole), 2) avoid excess carbohydrates and fatty foods, 3) avoid oily and spicy foods.
If you still have these problems then u should go to gastroenterologist to treat underlying cause.
Thanks and Regards,
