Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain After Gallbladder Surgery
I had gallbladder surgery almost a year ago. I have been having upper middle doubling up pain that feels sometimes like it is ripping out my spine. It only lasts about 15 but this is happening 2 or 3 times a day. I went to a gastrienoligist ? and had an upper endoscopy done. He said I had mild gastritis and it was probably sludge left over from the gallbladder. This is going on for almost a year. Do you have any idea.
Post cholecystectomy pain maybe due to stones in common bile duct OR increased fat intake or functional. Gastritis maybe treated by taking Nexium once daily before breakfast for 1 to 2 months. If pain persists you may need to take Famot.
My further advice is to get an ultrasound (abdomen) to rule out any stone remnants in common bile duct.
- avoid OILY food altogether - avoid eating stomach full and mouth full - avoid spicy food wish you good health
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Tayyab Malik
