Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain,loose Motion And Cough

Hi. I have a fever, body ache, loose motion, along with sneezing and slight coughing. I thought it was the flu at first until i started having slight abdominal pains on the left side and loose motion. I ve taken Tylenol 500mgs, an antihistamine for the sneezing, runny nose and coughing. I did take Colofaq for the loose motion but it hasn t done much for me. The Tylenol didn t affect the temperature whatsoever. Do I need to be worried?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of fever, body ache, loose motions, sneezing and slight cough. Thought of flu until started having pain in left side of abdomen with loose motions. Took Tylenol 500 and an antihistamine, colofaq but without much relief.
I would advise you the following in such a condition:
Send the a sample for stool tests and of hte blood and urine,
Ultrasonography.
Clinical evaluation and a therapeutic course of an antibiotic and metronidazole along with pre and probiotics so that the effects can be studied .
I hope this should clear the diagnosis and solve the problems.
If there is no complete relief by 5 th day, further tests and evaluation may be needed.
