Suggest Treatment For Absent Fetal Cardiac Activity During Pregnancy
Can a fetal heart stop beating and start beating again? My sister has been pregnancy for 6 months, last month everything is Ok. Yesterday, she was announced that the fetal heart stop beating, she was checked in 3 different hospital within 2 days and the results were the same. She didn't feel any change and didn't have any symptom. Does the fetus really die? What should we do now?

Hello Welcome to HCM I understand your concern. As you have checked in 3 different hospitals and the results have come same, fetus may not be alive. Fetal demise can occur suddenly at any time during the course of pregnancy. There is no dictum that pregnant women should have symptoms for this. So,i would suggest you to consult your gynecologist as soon as possible and terminate the pregnancy. Hope you are happy with the answer Thank you
