Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 73 years old with a stent in my heart since 2003 My EF is 30-35%. I am taking medicines of heart as prescribed by doctor. ..I use to take 250ml alcohol (wisky) daily in the evening before dinner. since last three weeks I am feeling too much acidity in me. I am unable to sleep well, feel uneasy and lifeless all the time. Earlier I use to sleep at 11pm. Abruptly getting up from the bed some time at 2am or 3am and could sleep only after one or two hours after taking digene tablet or backing soda water, herbal medicines available at home and after my stomach feels light after discharge of gas or motion. Recently a fortnight ago I got fibro scan test for my liver which showed a result of 4.5 and I was told that my liver is ok. I have consulted a doctor who has advised me to take 40 mg tablet sampraz in empty stomach,Ganaton tablet before every tea, centapro tablet before lunch and dinner. I am taking these medicines but relief is very limited. Please advise what to do to feel better.
