Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.
Squeezing and manipulating acne is never a good idea. Having done exactly that, you seems to have developed secondary bacterial infection with surrounding cellulitis in that area.
I would advice that you see a
dermatologist or your local care practitioner, for a prescription of an oral antibiotic (My choice of an oral antibiotic would have been either cephalexin or cefadroxyl) for a week to resolve the secondary bacterial infection.
An OTC antibacterial e.g 2% mupirocin or
fusidic acid cream can be applied twice daily at the site.
An OTC pain killer once or twice daily would help you symptomatically, in getting rid of the pain and swelling.
Once the infection settles down, you could use a topical antiacne gel e.g
benzoyl peroxide or
clindamycin gel twice daily for active acne.
Your treating dermatologist might also feel the need to start you on oral doxycycline or
azithromycin for 4-12 weeks depending on the severity of acne and response to treatment.
