Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have acute tendonitis in my left wrist and the pain is worse than when it was diagnosed. I was diagnosed over a year ago. For the first 3 weeks after I was diagnosed I was in a sling and brace and and after the three weeks I kept the brace on for an additional three weeks. Why is my pain worsening?
You have not mentioned whaich area of your wrist is having tendinitis. IF it is near thumb and it is getting worse then I would suggest you to get steroid injection in the sheath of the tendon. Also there is surgical option to release tight sheath is there, But first confirm the diagnosis by showing it to orthoapedic surgeon.
