Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I cannot give specifics on a particular patient without examining them directly, but I can say that psychological effects complicate drug addiction. Alcohol withdrawal is often fatal and needs close supervision.

Methamphetamine drug is quite dangerous and likely to interact both with psychological problems and make alcohol withdrawal worse.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
