I am 47 years old and have been diagnosed with adenomyosis. Provera pills did not ease my bleeding so I had a Depo-Provera injection two weeks ago. The bleeding has subsided but I have painful and debilitating cramps and severe bloating. What can I do to relieve these symptoms? Thanks.
Hello, Thanks for letting us know your health concern. The bloating is due to the hormone. It wears off in course of time. To relieve the cramps you can use an antispasmodic medication. You can also ask your doctor if a hormone IUD is a better choice since you are in the perimenopausal age. Please maintain a healthy lifestyle. Hope this helps.
