Suggest Treatment For Alopecia Universalis

Dear sir, I am 24 year old male , suffering from alopecia universalis , presently I have cleared my physical fitness test for armed services but in medical examination due non availability of skin specialist in the board they declare me unfit for alopecia and informed to get a certificate from skin specialist and then appeal, so I want to know your opinion in this condition , I have no family history of the disease and suffering from last 4 years. Your urgent opinion is required Thank you

I can understand your concern for the Alopecia universalis in yourself. There are multiple modalities of the treatment in your kind of cases. It requires a proper assessment by a dermatologist and then accordingly treatment to get eh best results.

I generally use topical and oral steroids along with immunomodulator drugs to get the best results. The dose and the concentration of each product are to be judged by the dermatologist. I suggest you to be in good follow up of a dermatologist to get the earliest improvement.
