Ambylopia occurs because of improper stimulation of vision in the eye during the period of vital age in childhood between 6 months to 6 years during which the development of vision occurs. Ambylopia can be treated upto the age of 10-12 years. After this the treatment is not possible. For other eye you need to undergo vision refraction correction for correction of the refractive error. Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
