Suggest Treatment For An Ingrown Hair In Groin Area
I think I have an ingrown hair in my upper inner groin area, is it ok to use Bactran (mupirocin)? As it s very painful and have had it for about 4 days now, I thought I had a drawing salve but cannot seem to find it, I will go buy it tomorrow it the bactrban does not work thank you
Thank you for your answer! Sure you can take Bactran, and apply to the affected area twice a day for two weeks. Meanwhile you can wash the area with an antibacterial soap, and apply hot and moist compresses to the involved area. Wear loose-fitting clothes, and avoid shaving irritated skin. Also always try to shave in the same direction of the growing hair. I hope this helps. If you are unclear please contact me again. Wishing you good health!! DR. Migena GEGA
