Anal fissure s a condition of tear of
anal canal -mostly results from constipation& hard stools./ large stools/ child birth/
diarrhea.
Treatment consists of-
Examination by an anorectal surgeon, who will dtewrmine extent of the fissure/ presence of secondary infection
- treatment consists of -
- Forming a regular habit of eating/ bowel evacuation,With help of mild laxatives/ stool softners/ dietory changes in form of lot of fibers & water
intake.
- Regular daily exercises inclding abdominal exercises/walking.
- Schitz's bath twice a day.( sitting in a tub containing hot-warm water & thus foment/ clean the fissure )
- Antibiotic /soothing & pain relieving cream application.

The problem is due to personal constitution/habits so,Permanent solution to fissure is to treat acute problem,/ get it treated surgically if advised so by doctor - followed by adopting lifestyle changes regularly to avoid recurrence
