Suggest Treatment For Anal Fissure

Hi, I have an anal fissure and have been taking soluble fibre for a couple of years, but I am beginning to wonder if this is making my stool big which is preventing the healing process. Is there a way to be regular, and yet have soft, normal sized stool?

Anal fissures can be tough to heal . If the bowel movements are large but soft that should be ok
If they are hard ,that could aggravate the problem. You would need to try stool softeners then . Also a triple antibiotic ointment like neosporin for 1-2 weeks might help.
